You will feel at ease in working with me in a comfortable non-judgmental therapeutic environment. I do not accept insurance and offer low-cost cash payments for individuals without insurance.

 GGP office  Gina Gonzalez-Puerta, LMHC

Mental health counseling works, I strongly believe it does. To me the therapeutic process is a collaborative one during which the client and therapist set goals together, specific and attainable goals. I have experience in addictions, mental illnesses (including severe anxiety, mood fluctuations, and disordered thought patterns/content), and problematic behaviors. I have focused on assisting individuals in preventing crises, and stabilizing after such events. I have had the opportunity to work with both children and adults. The modalities I use in my practice include cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing as it relates to the stages of change.  I am bilingual in Spanish and English, and take a multicultural approach to counseling. Le puedo atender en Español. Please feel free to contact me to discuss therapy for you or a loved one.
